Godstone Area Guide.

Godstone

Perfectly situated just off the M25, A22 and A25, Godstone’s pretty village with duck pond and village green is a great spot for road commuters.

Godstone, with its quintessentially English village green, array of historic houses and a handful of small boutique shops, was originally built on the old London to Brighton Roman road and is surrounded by lovely country walks and even has its own vineyard.

The Bell

This traditional pub next to the village green was stylishly refurbished several years ago. Retaining cosy armchairs and roaring fires with a conservatory and beer garden to the rear, this is the perfect venue to meet friends for a drink or enjoy a meal from their extensive menu .

A former brewery built in 1840 and situated in the heart of the village just beyond the village pond. This historic club offers very reasonable membership to the locals as their social club.
